These Spotnails and Reliability Provin, Inc. (RPI) products and procedures replace all previous product policies and procedures effective 11/1/23


TERMS OF SALES

Credit Accounts
Upon receipt of completed credit application, resell certificate, opening order and approval, terms will be Net 30 Days from date of invoice.

Accounts NOT paid within 30 days will incur a 1.5% per month service charge. Accounts that chronically fail to meet Net 30-Day terms will be placed on prepayment status.

All shipments are F.O.B. Spotnails distribution centers. Any discounts offered apply only to the base price.


SALES POLICY

There is no minimum order size.

We sell only to distributors and companies that sell and/or repair construction related tools and accessories. We do not sell directly to end users.


FREIGHT POLICY

Spotnails/RPI Parts
Orders over $350 qualifies for free Ground Service for commercial delivery locations to the 48 contiguous United States.

RPI Parts sold in quantities of 25 increment.
O-Rings under $1.00.

ACE Products
Stapler orders of $750 or more qualifies for prepaid freight.

Staple orders of $1,000 or more qualifies for prepaid freight.

Fasteners
Prepaid freight on regular warehouse priced sales order total $2,500+.

A mix orders of special and regular warehouse priced over $2,500 also qualifies for FREE SHIPPING for commercial delivery locations to the 48 contiguous United States.

Tools
Tool mixed orders of 50 or more receive a 5% discount excluding ACE staplers.

Cannot be combined with special priced tool discounts.


FREIGHT ACCESSORIAL FEES

Freight accessorial charges are not part of the prepaid freight terms regardless of the order size.

A flat rate of $60 accessorial charges will be applied on Residential or Lift Gate.

A limited access/high-cost delivery fee will be added based on the actual cost after the delivery.


WARRANTY

Spotnails and Reliability Provin, Inc. (RPI) warrants its products to be free from defects in material and workmanship as further described below. Spotnails/RPI makes no warranty, whether expressed or implied, with respect to the merchantability or fitness of its Tools, Fasteners, or Parts for any particular purpose. In no event shall Spotnails/RPI be liable for consequential damages.

Tools
Body and cap castings or moldings are warrantied for one year from date of purchase from an authorized Spotnails/RPI distributor. Metal component parts (except for driver blades) are warrantied for ninety days from date of purchase from any Spotnails/RPI distributor. All other tool components which do not fit into either of the above categories, such as bumpers and O-rings, are not warranted. Modification of the tool, or use of non-genuine Spotnails/RPI parts, automatically voids the tool warranty.

Fasteners
All fasteners are warrantied to be free from defects in material, plating, and workmanship. Normal care must be utilized in the handling and storage of fasteners. Abusive handling or improper storage will void any warranty claims. When selecting a fastener for a particular application, non-adherence to recommendations stated on the packaging (including written materials provided with the product) of fasteners or other materials used in the application, or non-adherence to industry standards or recommendations shall void any warranty claim including product liability.

Parts
Spotnails/RPI will, at its own option, replace or allow credit for any of its parts which it determines to be defective. Our sole responsibility is limited to the price paid by the purchaser. Spotnails/RPI shall not be liable for any damages arising out of or in connection with the use of parts manufactured or supplied by Spotnails/RPI.

Claims
All product warranty claims by the end user are to be initially processed by the Spotnails/RPI distributor who will then further process the claim with the Spotnails/RPI Customer Service Department. Upon notification by a Spotnails/RPI distributor of warranty claim, the customer service department will assign a Returns Material Authorization (RMA number).


FREIGHT CLAIMS

Signature is required at the time of delivery.

Inspect freight immediately for visible damage and document on POD ‘DAMAGED FREIGHT” before driver leaves with his initials.

MUST provide photos and any documentation needed to file a claim.

MUST notify Spotnails at customerservice@spotnails.com within three (3) business days so an RMA can be issued. The claim will be denied if not filed within that time period.

The consignee is responsible for damaged freight on “collect” shipments.


RETURNS / EXCHANGES / CREDITS

Goods returned to us for credits or exchanges must comply with the following (NO RETURNS WILL BE ACCEPTED WITHOUT PRIOR AUTHORIZATION):

  1. Goods must be current and unused stock items. Run-to-orders, specials, obsolete products, and parts are NOT returnable.
  2. The Customer Service Department, or your Sales Representative must first assign a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA Number) for a return.
  3. Prepayment of return transportation is required (unless due to a warranty issue as approved by Spotnails/RPI).
  4. Returned merchandise is accepted for credit at the original invoice price, or the current price (whichever is lower), and is subject to inspection and a 20% handling/restocking charge. Products returned for credit must be in good and saleable condition.
  5. The cost of any additional reconditioning or necessary packaging will be deducted from the credit or exchange.
